Alisan Fine Arts is organising an exhibition of "Poetry/Caliigraphy/Painting, Wucius Wong & Pat Hui" from 3 March - 20 March, 2005.
The famous Hong Kong artists, Wucius Wong & Pat Hui were both students of Lui Shou Kwan (1919-1975) from 1950's to 1960's, and have shared a common interest in poetry, calligraphy and painting since they met 43 years ago. It is a delight to witness their collaboration in creating this unique selection of work. In this exhibition we are presented with poems of Tang and Sung Dynasties which are selected by Wucius Wong as well as Wong's writing in official running and script styles of calligraphy, and Pat Hui contributes her colourful and visual interpretations and translation of the poems. The exhibition consists of over 20 works by these two artists from 1990-2005 and this will be their second show organised by Alisan Fine Arts since 1987.
