Ink for the 21st Century
04 Apr - 26 Apr | 2003
Introduction
Wang's ink painting combine the traditional ink medium and images in new and exciting ways. Through his painting, Wang strives to express his hope for a rebirth of ink tradition without the constraints of the past. Many of his paintings are large, creating a strong visual impact. Using gradation of the ink, both subtle and strong, splashed and osmotic, dey and wet, he achieves varieties of pattern and composition that are continually fascinating.
