1956 Born in Hong Kong
1970s Moved to Canada and studied western art and ink painting through the workshops offered by Lee Byng, a renowned watercolorist, and Lam Chin-shek, a noted painter, calligrapher, and seal-carver
1994 Returned to Hong Kong and set up a studio to teach art
2000 Advisor to organiser, Foshan International Ceramic Wood-firing Conference, Nanfeng Dragon Kiln, Foshan, Guangdong, China
