Kim Myeongsoo
Myeongsoo Kim is a photographer and sculptor based in Brooklyn, New York. He received his BFA in Sculpture + Extended Media from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009, and his MFA in Sculpture from Yale University in 2011. Recent exhibitions include Space City: Art in the Age of Artemis at the Asia Society Houston in 2024; BRIC 2019 in Brooklyn, NY, and the Brave New World Photo Festival at the Seoul Museum of Art in Seoul, Korea. His work has been exhibited across the United States, including a solo show at CUE Foundation in 2020, a two person show at Below Grand in 2021 and a solo show at YEH art gallery at St. John's University in 2022.
Hidden Stories at Alisan Fine Arts New York in 2024 is gallery's first time working with the artist. His works will be exhibited at Alisan Fine Arts New York Booth at Dallas Art Fair in Texas, USA in 2025.
