During 2009 summer, Alisan Fine Arts is pleased to present “Selected Hong Kong Artists”, in two consecutive shows. Over 50 artworks will be displayed: Chinese ink paintings, calligraphy works, oil paintings and sculptures. Amongst the artists exhibited, the shows will include the New Ink Art leader, Lui Shou-kwan and his followers, Wucius Wong, Pat Hui, Kan Tai-keung and Leung Kui-ting. Also included will be the classical Chinese scholar, T. C. Lai, the avant-garde calligrapher-painter Fung Ming Chip, “Hong Kong Icon” on canvas work – Hon Chi-fun, and sculptors Antonio Mak and Man Fung-yi. These artists are known for merging East and West, and for symbolizing an energetic and diversified originality.
